Chestnut Hill College was founded in 1924, is a private, Catholic, four-year, liberal arts college for women. The school has since opened coeducational graduate programs and coeducational undergraduate programs for working adults and in 2003 opened its full-time undergraduate programs to men. Its 75-acre campus is located in northwestern Philadelphia.
