Pfeiffer University, founded in 1885, is a private, church-affiliated, liberal arts university. Its 330-acre main, undergraduate campus is located in Misenheimer, 35 miles north of Charlotte. Pfeiffer also has a School of Adult Studies and a Graduate School in Charlotte and an additional location for graduate level programs in the Research Triangle Park area.
